ESTABLISHED IN 1966

GMECU is a state chartered credit union which is regulated and examined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Financial Institutions. Funds are federally insured to $100,000 by the NCUA.

The credit union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members. Because of this, our goal is to serve our members by providing an alternative to the profit-driven financial institutions. Each dollar of income is passed along to our members in the form of higher dividends on savings, lower interest on loans, or new and improved services.
